I agree with the investigators that an exploration of the pharmacological and physiological effects of ketamine is clinically relevant and has potential public health importance. Similarly, I appreciate the need to pursue a meta-analytic approach. However, I am less clear on the rationale to obtain these data outside the SAS platform. The authors do not explain why this is necessary nor do they describe the requisite security/privacy and technical requirements for such a process.
