Research proposal to meta-analyze clinical trial data, including OPTICS Project data, to characterize the relationship between inflammation and the MetS in patients with psychosis. Specifically, proposal examines the association between WBC and MetS (using patient waist circumference, triglycerides , HDL, blood pressure and glucose). However, the investigators explain that they have identified 54 trials from the OPTICS project, which is a misunderstanding. There are 50+ trials available via the YODA Project site, while the OPTICS Trial bundle is a curated package of 17 trials for which phenotypic and genetic information are available (more details here: https://yoda.yale.edu/optics-trial-bundle).
